Le Cube Opening
It is a tradition at Le Cube: the inauguration of new exhibitions is the perfect excuse to have an evening of celebration and art, open to all!
Come and discover in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere the exhibition “J’Veux Pas Grandir” (I don’t want to grow up) and photographs by the 127Bis collective, watch the audiovisual performance “Euphorie” by the 1024 collective and exchange, over a drink, with all the artists and the team at Le Cube.
CUBE FOCUS: “REGARDS D’ENFANCE” (childlike perspectives)
From 27 October 2010 to 29 January 2011
This quarter, Le Cube has chosen to become a child again thanks to the focus “Regards d’Enfance” (childlike perspectives). With an exhibition, a conference, performances and a multimedia installation, retrace your childhood dreams and nightmares through the work of artists who have a unique take on those (more or less) innocent times via works that are often playful, sometimes naive but always focused on questioning our adult world.
EUPHORIE / 1024 COLLECTIVE
In case you missed it while it was at Le Cube during the 2010 Némo Festival or if, like many, you were unable to access the room which had become too small to accommodate all of you, we are very glad to offer you this new opportunity to see it! François Wunschel, Fernando Favier and Pier Schneider from the 1024 collective grace us with another chance to catch their multimedia performance “Euphorie”.
Live electronic music in surround sound, video capture, projections and light structures – all communicating with each other – make up this concert of fictive actors, 3D geometry, guitars-neons-lasers and ghost vocoders, where hijacking and humour also play an important part.
