La perception is an interactive video installation that explores narrative structures and the concept of “point of view”. The device shows five versions of a single story, each corresponding to the point of view of five different characters. Using gesture and movement, spectators can influence the video and change characters, triggering a change in point of view. The installation puts perception to the test, oscillating between inventions of an unrestricted imagination and the consensus of a normative system. Vital power is placed in the context of a free dramatic structure, in which the action reveals itself through open dialogues mixed with the noises of life to better reveal inter-weaving viewpoints.
